All the magic of chocolate
Our experience, here is what guides us in developing new products for increasingly advanced markets.
To the mastery in developing new recipes, there is also a deep knowledge of raw materials and packaging materials combined with a typically Italian imagination and style.
We have always been looking for courageous and original solutions to face the reality of the market with winning and innovative proposals designed to guarantee coverage of the various market segments with brands and products that meet the needs of cross-cutting consumption.
1959
It all began in 1959 in a small laboratory in Cremona. A thirty-year-old boy, Roberto Bonetti, wants to produce chocolate, but he doesn't have a pound in his pocket. He throws himself into an arduous adventure, perhaps impossible today, and takes that very small factory to unimaginable levels: today, his chocolate is consumed in more than 80 countries around the world, on four continents.
1962
Bonetti creates the famous “Boero”, a brilliant combination of extra dark chocolate, liqueur and cherries, which is still one of Witor's flagships today.
1973
The opening of the new company in Corte de' Frati marked the transition from artisanal to industrial production, with automated processes.
1994
Michele and Rossano Bonetti, Roberto Bonetti's sons, join the company: a new modern distribution strategy.
2009
The company launches a new brand project to give it value and distinctive character.
2016-2019
The company is making its way into new markets with the production of spreadable creams, the pastry line and basic products. New impetus for distribution thanks to the inauguration of a new automated warehouse.
2022
Witor's becomes part of the Benetton group that modernizes the brand and reinforces its international ambitions.
