ALL THE MAGIC OF CHOCOLATE
It is our experience that guides us in the development of new products for increasingly sophisticated markets. Along with our mastery in developing new recipes, we add a thorough knowledge of raw materials and packaging combined with typical Italian imagination and style.
We have always sought out bold and original solutions to face the market landscape with successful and innovative proposals capable of guaranteeing coverage of the various market segments with brands and products that meet the needs of a cross-section of consumers.

1959
It all began in 1959 in a small atelier in Cremona. A young man in his thirties, Roberto Bonetti, wants to produce chocolate, but does not have a penny in his pocket. He nonetheless throws himself into an arduous adventure, one which would perhaps be impossible today, and takes that tiny factory to undreamt of heights. Today, his chocolate is consumed in more than 80 countries around the world, on all four continents.

1962
Bonetti creates the famous “Boero”, an inspired combination of extra dark chocolate, liqueur and cherries, still one of Witor’s flagship products today.

1973
The opening of the new production facility at Corte de’ Frati marks the transition from a small-scale craft operation to industrial production, with fully automated processes.

1994
Roberto Bonetti’s sons Michele and Rossano join the company: new, modern distribution strategy.

2009
The company launches a new brand project to build on its distinctive character and value.

2016 - 2019
The company makes inroads into new markets with the production of spreads, the confectioner’s line and chocolate coated products. New impetus for distribution thanks to the inauguration of a new automated warehouse.

2022
21 Invest enters Witor’s capital with the aim of strengthening the brand’s positioning and increasing its competitiveness in the chocolate market
